DENIM:

I’ve been racking my brain for the past few weeks about what to write about for my first fashion related post. I had a short list but I decided that DENIM felt WRITE( no pun intended). Who else loves it? I mean besides black there is nothing like it. Don’t get me wrong I love black as much as the next person. It goes with everything and it can be dressed up or down… but denim gives you a pop of color while still allowing you to have endless options of matching opportunities.

I was going through my Instagram feed and I realized that I have been posting a lot of denim outfits! I thought to myself, why is that? And I realized it is because it’s so EASY! Any top goes with it and I love dresses because I can wear most of my shoes and add any color accessory to the to pull it all together.

I think that denim came back recently in a big way. Especially with all the frayed and distressed looks being applied to jeans, skirt and even jackets. Ah, JACKETS how could I forget. A denim jacket is a MUST HAVE staple in my wardrobe. And yes you guessed it… because it goes with everything! I also love how I can dress down a nighttime look or dressy look with a denim jacket.
