Things to Do in NY in September
I am back again with my “things to do” post. I would love to hear back from you guys if any of you actually did any of the activities that I recommended. As well as, if you would like me to focus on specific areas. If you didn’t read last months post, you can read it here. Some of the events are still going on.

Museum Exhibits:
Comme des Garcons– The museum exhibit that was featured at the Met Gala! It ends September 4th.
Japanese Bamboo Art– Check out incredible Bamboo Art at the Met. It will be going on until February 4th.
Still going on:
Chihuly– glass exhibit will be going on until October 29th. I went there a few weeks ago and it was truly incredible. I had never been to the NY Botanical Gardens before, the grounds were enormous! The glass sculptures incorporated into the flower exhibition was amazing. I would highly recommend visiting it! If you’re going on a hot day, make sure to have water with you, or purchase when you walk in. Here is a link to check out there website.
Eloise at the Museum– exhibit is going on until October 9th. I have not been yet, but I loved Eloise growing up. So I will be checking it out.

Activities:
Oktoberfest- Yes! it takes place from September 16th to October 2nd. I had no idea it was in September. If you are a beer fan then this party is calling your name! Drink and be merry.
New York City Ballet- I have never been to the ballet but I would be amazing if I could make it to one of these shows! It will be taking place September 19th to October 2nd.
Tribute in Light- On September 11th a tribute will take place by the Freedom Tower. You can also visit the 911 museum.
Broadway Show- A dinner and a show is the ultimate night out in NYC. Head to Theatermania for discounts on tickets.
Comedy Show– Head to LOL for a night full of laughters. Groupon is having a great deal.
